The Probability of Miracles by Wendy Wonder
It's hard not to notice this cover. The pink just screams, in a good way. I really like how the typeface is all caps and shows through to the background. One of my favorite aspects to of this cover, however, is how the feather cutout shows through to the background picture of a girl looking down. The girl's face seems hopeful and healthy. I am looking forward to read this one!
Dry, sarcastic, sixteen-year-old Cam Cooper has spent the last seven years in and out hospitals. The last thing she wants to do in the short life she has left is move 1,500 miles away to Promise, Maine - a place known for the miraculous events that occur there. But it's undeniable that strange things happen in Promise: everlasting sunsets; purple dandelions; flamingoes in the frigid Atlantic; an elusive boy named Asher; and finally, a mysterious envelope containing a list of things for Cam to do before she dies. As Cam checks each item off the list, she finally learns to believe - in love, in herself, and even in miracles. (GoodReads)
What cover are you crazy about this week?
Ohh, I love the feather wing look, very eye catching. Thanks for stopping by PTB
ReplyDeleteThat sounds like a good read! I will have to add it to my tbr. My favorite part about the cover is how the letters show through to the background.
ReplyDeleteI'd definitely spot this on the shelf! I really like the feather cutout, it's a cute touch.
ReplyDeleteThe cover is gorgeous! It's even more so in person. I won a copy of it from LibraryThing awhile back. Haven't read it yet, but soooo pretty!
ReplyDeleteI like the feather, but hate the pink.
